We had the best experience getting our family photos taken with Naomi! She met us (early!) at a park near our home in the Inner West and knew just how to get the best out of our 5 and 2 year old. She got a range of fun family shots, as well as some really sweet ones of the girls together (and it’s a rare moment they’re sweet together!)

It was awesome to get to see all the photos right after the session. We got some amazing photos that really capture the personalities of our two girls, that I know will be even more special to us as they get older 🥰

 Naomi warmly welcomed our family to her beautiful home and studio, her bubbly personality allowing our teen girls to relax and be all aspects of themselves. And this was gorgeous - Naomi ensured that she captured the full spectrum of teen emotions typically experienced within an hour - we loved the shots that captured our girls' grown up, independent, confident presence, but also the ones reflecting moments of shyness and self-consciousness. The fun was pervasive - smiles, laughter, family jokes and the ice breaker created by Naomi's gentle (but slightly naughty) dogs - but there were also special, more serious moments that reinforced the importance of 'bottling up' our growing daughters' childhood and youth in a powerful, beautiful photographic record. Professional photography is an investment - one in which our family is underweight - and Naomi's connection with our girls and diligence in her art made this a special experience for our family. We only regret that our Mini Pinscher was unwell at the time of the shoot and not able to join the fun. Thank you Naomi for the wonderful photographs.

 We had some family photos done recently for our son’s first birthday and really enjoyed our photoshoot with Naomi. We felt totally at ease with her, and she was really engaging with our baby, trying to encourage him into playful expressions! It’s a challenge to get a smile from him, but she managed to capture some truly special moments, and so many different beautiful facial expressions and compositions that were directed to look very natural and un-posed. She was super responsive beforehand, helping to explain the structure of the shoot, choosing a location, clothing, etc. and gave us great guidance to try and minimise the stress for the baby. There were so many great shots that I agonised over our final selection. Naomi was hugely patient and helped guide us towards our final beautiful selection, and I can’t wait to see how they look once retouched with her artistic eye (hopefully a few less wrinkles & eye bags!!)  We had a family studio photo shoot a few weeks ago with Naomi. I really appreciated how she took the time to discuss the dynamics of our family and the details of what we wanted ahead of time. My young daughter is very shy and Naomi had some great tips on how to prepare her for the photo shoot. When we arrived, Naomi put all of us at ease and - much to my delight - my daughter relaxed into the session (and became quite the chatterbox!). It was a lovely and wonderful experience.  We had a photo shoot with Naomi a few weeks ago that incorporated my 8month old and his 3 cousins aged 5, 3 and 18 months. Naomi was extremely patient as we tried to coordinate the movements of 3 families and the nap times of 4 young children! By some miracle, and Naomi’s patience and expertise, we pulled off what seemed like an impossible shoot. The pictures are wonderful and will be cherished for many, many years to come. Naomi has a wonderful eye and captures emotions and energy in pictures that are far beyond still, posed photos. She took a huge amount of time out of her day to allow us to select the most perfect combination of photos. The end result was exactly what we were looking for and the Grandparents are going to be thrilled with their Christmas present!

 We had a fabulous time last Saturday, Naomi took her time to make sure the whole family was captured in a very natural way. We had a few requests of what we wanted and Naomi more than covered our expectations. The location for the shoot was perfect, it really made it easy to keep everyone engaged and capture some beautiful moments of our family whilst using the natural landscape to add to the shots. When it was time to view our shoot the shots of my children brought tears to my eyes, Naomi definitely knows how to capture the moment.

 We had a fabulous experience with Naomi having a well-overdue family photo shoot in Centennial Park this weekend. Naomi very kindly arranged to meet us at 7am on Sunday and had all the patience in the world with our little ones. The entire experience was so easy and relaxed. Naomi took the time to have a long introductory call with me to get an idea of what we were looking for and sent lots of emails about arrangements so we knew what to bring and expect on the day. Then on the day she was so easy going and relaxed that the shoot was over before we knew it. Immediately afterwards I got to spend a couple of hours with Naomi trying to select the best images - no easy feat! The photos are absolutely gorgeous, we have such a range of shots and Naomi really captured the personalities of the little ones (and the big ones!). Highly recommend Naomi. If you’ve been putting off getting some photos done, give her a call, you won’t regret it!!

 We had a great day with Naomi. She managed to get some stunning shots of us all. Jack was too busy to stay in one spot but she got fantastic action shots - exactly what we were after. It was a very relaxed session. She helped us afterwards going through all the shots to help pick the best of us and Jack’s expressions. We were delighted with the shots we got and now have a wide range to send overseas to family and friends ?

 My twin boys enjoyed a studio cake smash session with Naomi earlier this week to celebrate their first birthday. It was a relaxed and fun morning. Naomi allowed plenty of time at the end of the session to preview and select images. She captured some beautiful photos of my boys and I can’t wait to see the final results.

 We are thrilled with our experience with Naomi. She managed to capture our preschooler, baby and family with beautiful shots that will make perfect keepsakes. She was also very accommodative with the timing and very professional with communication before and after the shoot and pacing the session to give us time to review all of the pictures while keeping our two girls happy!

 We have just have a fabulous experience with a studio shoot for our 6 month old baby. Naomi has been very lovely and professional throughout organising the shoot and on the day. She provided very detailed and helpful information on how to prepare and was very thoughtful in her planning to ensure the best possible photos of our bub. The photos are indeed incredible, and we had such a fun morning. Naomi certainly has a way with babies to help them shine and keep mum and relaxed the whole way through. The only hard part was picking our favourite photos. Fortunately Naomi had a good system and plenty of patience to help with that too. We certainly recommend her.

 A bit of a belated review - we had a great family and pet photo shoot a few months ago. Naomi was very relaxed and helped my teenage boys to feel at ease, which allowed her to capture their personalities. The boys had a lot of fun playing with our dog in the shoot. We just love the photos, and they are great memories to treasure. Naomi was very professional and I could recommend her highly.

 Review: We booked a family package with an indoor photo shoot at Naomi's house both formal and informal. We enjoyed the shoot and were delighted with the outcome, including a number of 'wow factor' photos of my two teenage daughters. We ended up selecting 50 photos from the shoot as the quality of the photos far exceeded our expectations. Also, the amount of personal time invested by Naomi was much greater than we had expected - she clearly cared to deliver a quality product. We are very glad we selected Naomi and we do recommend her.

 Naomi did a photo shoot for us with our boys and we absolutely loved her work. Naomi’s approach with our boy’s capturing candid moments was exactly what we were looking for. The shoot yielded absolutely beautiful shots.

 Highly recommend Naomi Hamilton Photography especially for families with little kids who are nervous about how stressful baby photos can be! We have a 14 month old and from booking through to execution Naomi had us all at ease. Naomi gave great instructions on how we could make the day a success, on the day she never pushed too hard and in fact made us take breaks so that our son could stay in the zone. And what I usually find the most stressful - choosing the photos - was a breeze with Naomi helping us select and make good decisions. And of course the end results were beautiful!
